'General physicians' are those doctors who take care of daily routine diseases. Their vast range of expertise differentiates them from other specialists who are limited in their knowledge involving only one part of the body. Hence, they are broadly educated to handle the entire medical problems of a patient for which they are able to provide expert diagnosis through logical and scientific approach, they are also able to asses and choose drugs and other medical therapies to treat a person's body, since they are highly skilled in making clinical decisions and cost effective use of healthcare resources.
