Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zubaida Masood is one of the most prominent Gynecologists, Obstetricians and
Fertility Consultants in Karachi with more than 22 years of experience in her field. She has given
countless interviews on a YouTube channel where she discusses various topics relating to
women’s health and the experience of a woman’s pregnancy. She is currently offering

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zubaida Masood is a highly qualified medical professional and has numerous
qualifications and degrees. She has completed her MBBS, as well as her FCPS and her MCPS.
She is a member of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zubaida Masood has over 22 years of experience in her field and is therefore

Activism
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zubaida Masood has given many video interviews on women’s health. In one
video she spoke about women’s health and how it is important for society to work towards this
goal for the overall health of society. She spoke about the myths related to pregnancy and the
stigmas and misconceptions attached to it. She then discussed how negative opinions and
misconceptions scare the pregnant woman and instead of feeling supported, she is scared of
how the course of her pregnancy will go wrong. She cleared misconceptions that tests and folic
acid are bad for pregnant women and are in fact beneficial for them.
Special Interests
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zubaida Masood has a special interest in cesarean section deliveries. In a
video she spoke about why there is a rise in c-section deliveries. She said how patients and
attendants now usually have lower patience for a normal delivery and that certain pregnancies
can be dangerous if delivered naturally.
