Acne Marks

I'm taking medication for PCOS, right now taking inofolic, isnate D and Duphaston for two months, after two months doctor suggested to take YAZ for 3 months. My question is, I'm having acne on my face and these acne leaves extremely dark spots on the face for months. Is YAZ enough for acne, or I should consult a dermatologist?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. There is no harm in consulting a dermatologist. Yaz is for PCOS and may have some role to improve acne too. You can use it for a while and if there isn't any noticeable improvement then you can consult a dermatologist.
However since acne is due to your PCOS, once your PCOS is cured your acne will heal itself.
