Which exercises are effective to relief the pain caused by shin splints. Brief history: Having pain on lower medial aspect of tibia which aggravates on running. It started 1-2 weeks after using treadmill.

Dear Patient,

Are your shoes old? Are they proper shoes meant for running and walking by an athletic company? A bad/flat sole can cause pain when walking. Secondly try walking for one wk on sand in a park with levelled tracks. Check your blood vitamin D test and send us photo of report. Take CAC-1000 tablets once a day for 4wks along with 14-16 glasses of water and write back to us on your condition. Apply voltral gel on the affected region and hot towels as needed for pain relief.
