NCOC to impose restrictions on unvaccinated people from October 1

On Tuesday, September 27, 2021, the NCOC announced a number of restrictions that unvaccinated people in Pakistan would be subject to from October 1, 2021.

This was announced in a tweet on Tuesday by the NCOC.

Here is the tweet:

NCOC Restrictions for Unvaccinated Pakistani Citizens

Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated people will be subject to the following restrictions from October 1:

  • Restriction on international and domestic travel
  • Restriction on entry into restaurants
  • Restriction on entry into shopping malls
  • Restriction on being part of an educational institute’s staff

Final Thoughts

It looks like these steps are being taken to speed up the vaccinations in Pakistan and urge non vaccinated people to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

These curbs on unvaccinated Pakistani citizens will hopefully lead to an increase in the number of daily vaccinations after 1st October 2021.

Earlier, the NCOC had also announced that the age limit on vaccination has been lowered to 12 years in order to administer vaccinations to the younger population of Pakistan.

If you are unvaccinated, you have just 1 day left before you will have to face the above restrictions!

So hurry up and get vaccinated to avoid any inconvenience!
