Q.1. What are the main causes of stomach issues?

As you have seen, after diabetes, there is a prevalence of stomach problems in our country. Well, one of the reasons why we are plagued with stomach issues is because of our diet. The quality of our food is rapidly deteriorating in terms of nutrition and hygiene. 

The second big problem in terms of diet is gorging on junk food. Eating excessive amounts of junk food is one of the biggest causes of gastrointestinal problems.

Q.2. How can we avoid common stomach problems?

Well, there are many stomach problems that are certainly avoidable. Making a few lifestyle and diet changes can make things a lot easier for your stomach.

Eat food that is hygienic and don’t forget to wash your hands before digging in your food. Secondly, take moderate portions. In addition, your food must be cooked properly as well.

Also refrain from eating junk such as pizza, burger, shawarma that are not hygienic and can cause many stomach-related illnesses.

Q.3. What are the most common stomach problems?

The most common stomach illness patients that I receive have gastritis. Now, what is gastritis? Gastritis is an inflammation of the protective lining of the stomach. Indeed one of the major causes of gastritis is the consumption of junk food.

Some gastritis symptoms include; abdominal pain and bloating, nausea, recurrent upset stomach, vomiting, indigestion and a burning feeling in the stomach.

Q.4. What would be your advice to live a stomach-friendly life?

Well, to avoid stomach problems, there are a few changes you can introduce in your lifestyle.

Always drink water before your meals. Similarly, avoid carbonated drinks and artificial juices to prevent bloating. In addition, eat clean and healthy.

Lastly, if you do indeed develop a stomach related issue, go to a specialist immediately. I believe that homoeopathic medicine and herbs are not as effective as people make them out to be.
