- Paracetamol 300mg + Pseudoephedrine HCl 36mg + Triprolidine 1.5mg
How to use Actifed-P Cold Tablet?
- Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed for adults and children over 12 years
- Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours unless a doctor advises otherwise
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food
- Do not use for more than 5 to 7 days without consulting a doctor
- Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice
Drug Interactions
- MAOIs (e.g. Phenelzine): Can cause a severe, potentially dangerous rise in blood pressure when combined with pseudoephedrine.
- Other Decongestants or Stimulants: Combining with other pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine containing products can raise heart rate and blood pressure further.
- Beta Blockers and Blood Pressure Medicines: Pseudoephedrine may reduce the effectiveness of antihypertensive drugs.
- Sedatives, Sleep Aids or Alcohol: Can increase drowsiness caused by triprolidine.
