How to use Agout tablet 300mg?
- Agout tablet 300mg is usually taken once daily, after a meal, with a full glass of water.
- Swallowing the tablet whole is recommended, without crushing or chewing.
- Plenty of fluids each day help prevent kidney stone formation while on this medicine.
- Continuing the tablet during a gout flare is generally advised, unless your doctor says otherwise.
Drug Interactions
Tell your doctor about all current medicines before starting Agout tablet 300mg.
- Azathioprine or mercaptopurine: Raises the risk of serious toxicity, dose reduction is often needed.
- Warfarin: Can increase the blood thinning effect.
