About Amole Plus Tablet 500mg/65mg
A combination tablet used for short term relief of moderate to severe pain.
Uses
- Short term relief of moderate to severe pain
- Pain after surgery or dental procedures
- Pain from injuries, fractures, or sprains
- Chronic pain that has not responded well to Paracetamol alone
- Pain associated with osteoarthritis flare ups when advised by a doctor
Benefits
- Combines two pain relieving actions for a stronger effect than Paracetamol alone
- Works faster than single ingredient painkillers for moderate to severe pain
- Reduces the total opioid dose needed compared to Tramadol alone
- Available as an oral tablet, convenient for short courses at home
What Experts Say
Tramadol works on the brain and spinal cord to change how pain signals are processed, while Paracetamol adds a separate pain relieving and fever reducing effect, and combining both allows a lower dose of Tramadol to control pain. This dual action is why doctors reach for it when single agent painkillers fall short.
Pain specialists in Pakistan often prescribe this combination for short courses after surgery, dental work, or injury, since it controls pain that plain Paracetamol or NSAIDs cannot manage alone. It is generally reserved for situations where pain is expected to ease within a few days.
Because Tramadol is an opioid, doctors recommend using Amole Plus only for the shortest effective time, since longer use raises the risk of dependence, tolerance, and withdrawal symptoms on stopping. Patients with a history of substance misuse are usually monitored more closely or given alternatives.
