How to use Anpra Tablet 0.5mg?

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Take it at the same times each day
• May be taken with or without food
• Never stop this tablet suddenly without your doctor's advice

Contraindications

• Known allergy to alprazolam or other benzodiazepines
• Contraindicated in acute narrow angle glaucoma
• Not suitable for severe respiratory depression or sleep apnea
• Avoid in pregnancy and while breastfeeding

Drug Interactions

• Opioids and other sedatives: combined use raises the risk of dangerous drowsiness and slowed breathing
• Ketoconazole and itraconazole: these antifungals can markedly raise alprazolam levels in the blood
• Alcohol: adds to the sedative effect and increases the risk of breathing problems
