- Long term prevention of recurring allergic symptoms in people with atopic conditions
Asfen Tablet Benefits
- Compact tablet form suits adults and older children who can swallow tablets whole
- Twice daily 1mg dosing provides steady, round the clock symptom control
- Suitable for long term maintenance use in people with recurring seasonal allergies
Allergists in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi frequently recommend Asfen tablet for adults dealing with year round allergic rhinitis linked to dust, pollen and air pollution. It is also used for people with chronic hives that keep coming back.
The 1mg tablet is usually taken twice daily, once in the morning and once at night. Doctors often start with the night dose alone for the first few days so the body adjusts to any initial drowsiness before adding the morning dose.
Ketotifen tablets can cause sedation and increased appetite in some people, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided until the response is known. Anyone with liver disease or who is pregnant should use it only under medical supervision.
