How to use Austa-Z Tablet 250mg?
- Take Austa-Z Tablet 250mg once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
- Complete the entire course your doctor prescribed, usually three to five days, even if you feel better sooner
- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember, then continue the regular schedule the next day
- Do not take antacids containing aluminum or magnesium at the same time as this tablet
Drug Interactions
- Antacids: Aluminum and magnesium antacids can lower absorption if taken at the same time, space doses apart
- Warfarin: May increase the blood thinning effect and raise bleeding risk
- Digoxin: Can raise digoxin blood levels and increase the chance of side effects
- Other QT Prolonging Drugs: Certain heart rhythm medicines and antipsychotics add to cardiac risk when combined
