How to use Axid Neo Capsule 40mg?

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, do not crush or chew it.
• Take at least one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.
• Take at the same time each day for best results.
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor even if symptoms improve.
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next dose.

Drug Interactions

• Clopidogrel: Esomeprazole may reduce the antiplatelet effect of clopidogrel, increasing cardiovascular risk.
• Methotrexate: High dose methotrexate levels can rise when combined with PPIs, raising toxicity risk.
• Warfarin: May increase INR and bleeding risk, requiring closer monitoring.
