How to use Benzacide Soap?
- Benzacide soap can be used by wetting the skin and working the bar into a lather.
- The lather should be left on the skin for one to two minutes before rinsing.
- A gentle moisturizer should be applied afterward to prevent dryness
Contraindications
- Not suitable for broken, cracked, or severely irritated skin
- People diagnosed with rosacea or eczema should avoid this soap
- Should not be used by anyone with a known allergy to benzoyl peroxide
- Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice
Drug Interactions
- Tretinoin cream: Combined use with this soap can increase skin dryness and irritation.
- Salicylic acid products: Using both together may cause excessive peeling and redness.
- Other benzoyl peroxide products: Doubling up can raise the risk of skin irritation.
