How to use Bexovate G Cream?

• Wash and dry the affected skin gently
• Spread a thin layer over the affected area only
• Rub in lightly until the cream disappears
• Wash your hands after application unless treating them
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth

Contraindications

• Should not be used by patients allergic to betamethasone, gentamicin or similar antibiotics
• Should not be used on untreated fungal, viral or tubercular skin infections
• Should not be used on acne, rosacea or perioral dermatitis
• Should not be applied to open wounds or ulcers

Risks and warnings

• Do not exceed the recommended duration or area: as long use may thin the skin and allow steroid absorption
• Use with caution: on the face, groin or armpits, since the skin is thinner there
• Use with caution: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and use only if your doctor advises
• Use with caution: in children and elderly patients, since their skin absorbs more or is more fragile
• Use with caution: if you have kidney or liver problems and are treating a large area
• Avoid covering with tight dressings: unless your doctor specifically directs it

• Burning, stinging or itching at the application site
• Dryness or redness of the treated skin
• Changes in skin colour in the treated area
• Skin thinning, stretch marks or visible small blood vessels with prolonged use
• Rare allergic reaction such as rash, hives or swelling

Storage Conditions

• Store at room temperature, below 25°C
• Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the cap tightly closed after each use
• Keep out of reach of children
