What Experts Say
Physicians recommend calcium and vitamin C combination sachets when diet alone cannot meet daily calcium needs. Pakistan carries a high burden of calcium deficiency and osteoporosis, particularly among women of reproductive age and older adults, which makes supplementation a common part of routine care.
Doctors across Pakistan often prefer multi salt calcium formulas, such as a blend of calcium gluconate, lactate, and carbonate, because the combination improves overall absorption compared to a single calcium salt. Monitoring is advised in patients with kidney disease or a history of kidney stones, since excess calcium intake can worsen these conditions.
