How to use Cofcol Tablet?

• Swallow Cofcol tablet with water, with or after food if it upsets the stomach.
• Adults and older children take the labelled dose every 6 to 8 hours as needed, within the daily maximum.
• Children should take it only as advised by a doctor.
• Do not combine with other cold or paracetamol products.

Drug Interactions

• MAO inhibitors: Combined use with pseudoephedrine may cause dangerous high blood pressure.
• Antidepressants such as fluoxetine: These can interact with dextromethorphan and cause serotonin syndrome.
• Alcohol and sedatives: These increase drowsiness and, with paracetamol, strain the liver.
• Blood pressure medicines: Pseudoephedrine may reduce their effect.
