- Reduces redness and inflammation alongside the fungal infection
Cremazole-H Cream Benefits

- Suitable for inflamed and itchy fungal patches
- Easy topical application at home
- An affordable option compared to branded steroid antifungal creams
Dermatologists and general physicians in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi frequently treat fungal skin infections that worsen in Pakistan's hot, humid climate.
Clotrimazole stops fungal cell growth by damaging the fungal cell membrane. Hydrocortisone calms the redness, swelling and itching that come with the infection.
This cream works best for short courses of one to two weeks. Longer unsupervised use can mask the infection and make it harder to treat.

Drug Interactions
- Other topical steroids: Combined use on the same skin area raises the risk of skin thinning.
- Other topical antifungals: Layering multiple antifungal creams adds no benefit and may irritate the skin.
- Occlusive dressings: Covering the treated area tightly increases steroid absorption and side effect risk.
Risks and warnings
- Steroid overuse: Using it longer than 2 weeks can thin the skin and cause stretch marks.
- Masked infection: The steroid component can hide a worsening fungal infection, a condition known as tinea incognito.
- Sensitive areas: Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and open wounds during application.
- Pregnancy: Use only under medical advice during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Children: Use a smaller amount for a shorter duration in young children due to thinner skin.
