Nepafenac reduces inflammation in the eye by blocking the same pathway responsible for pain and swelling elsewhere in the body, applied directly where it is needed.

It is most often used around cataract and other eye surgery, started before the procedure and continued for a period afterward as the eye doctor directs.

Contact lenses should not be worn while using this drop unless the doctor specifically advises it, and the dropper tip should never touch the eye or any surface, to avoid contamination.

How to use Curanep drops?

• Use exactly as directed by your eye doctor, usually three times daily.
• Wash hands before use.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.
• Remove contact lenses before use unless your doctor advises otherwise.

Drug Interactions

Curanep drops have few interactions beyond other eye medicines used at the same time.

• Other topical eye medicines: Space drops a few minutes apart if using more than one.
• Other ophthalmic NSAIDs or steroids: Combined use should be guided by your eye doctor.

Risks and warnings

• Corneal healing: Rarely affects corneal healing, especially with prolonged use.
• Contact lenses: Should generally be removed before using this drop.
• Eye surgery: Used specifically around the time of eye surgery as directed.
• Eye infection: Report increasing redness, pain or discharge promptly.

Storage Conditions

Store below 30°C, protect from light, do not freeze. Discard 4 weeks after opening.
