How to use Cutivate M Ointment 0.005%/2%?

• Wash and dry the affected area before applying the ointment.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin once or twice daily, or as directed by your physician.
• Rub in gently until absorbed, then wash your hands unless the hands are the treated area.
• Do not cover the treated area with an occlusive bandage unless your doctor advises it.
• Use for the duration prescribed, usually not longer than two weeks, unless directed otherwise.

Drug Interactions

• Other Topical Steroids: Using another corticosteroid product on the same area raises the risk of skin thinning and systemic absorption.
• Occlusive Dressings: Covering the treated area with plastic wrap or tight bandages increases absorption of both actives.
