How to use Debridat Syrup?

• Shake the bottle well before every dose
• Measure the dose with the cup or spoon supplied
• Take generally before meals, spaced evenly through the day
• Keep the bottle cap tightly closed after each use

Contraindications

• Should not be used by patients allergic to trimebutine or any ingredient
• Should not be used in pregnancy unless the doctor considers it necessary
• Should not be used while breastfeeding unless the doctor advises it
• Should not be used for severe abdominal pain with fever or vomiting before a medical exam

Risks and warnings

• Do not exceed the prescribed dose: higher amounts may cause drowsiness and stomach upset
• Use with caution: if you have liver disease, since the doctor should know before you start
• Use with caution: if you take sedatives, opioids or hyoscine, since effects may overlap
• Use with caution: when driving, since dizziness or drowsiness may occur
• Do not self-treat for long periods: blood in stool, weight loss or fever needs medical review
• Avoid alcohol: it may add to drowsiness and stomach upset

Storage Conditions

• Store at room temperature below 25°C, away from sunlight and moisture
• Check the expiry date on the pack before use
• Keep out of reach of children
