How to use Deltafast Syrup 0.5mg/ml?

• A 10ml (5mg) dose once daily for adults and children 12 years and older
• A 5ml (2.5mg) dose once daily for children 6 to 11 years
• A 2.5ml (1.25mg) dose once daily for children 1 to 5 years
• A 2ml (1mg) dose once daily for infants 6 to 11 months, only on a doctor's advice
• The marked measuring cup or syringe provided with the pack, for accurate dosing
• One dose at the same time each day, with or without food

Drug Interactions

• Alcohol: A possible increase in drowsiness, even though desloratadine causes less sedation than older antihistamines.
• CNS depressants: Increased drowsiness is possible when combined with sedatives or sleep medicines.
• Ketoconazole and erythromycin: No clinically significant interaction shown in studies, though caution is still advised.
