Clotrimazole is an azole antifungal that blocks ergosterol synthesis in the fungal cell membrane, weakening the organism until it can no longer multiply. How to use Dimed-Z cream?

• Wash and dry the affected area gently before applying
• Apply a thin layer of Dimed-Z cream to the affected skin twice daily, or as directed by your doctor
• Gently rub the cream in until it is absorbed
• Wash hands after application unless the hands are the treated area
• Use for the duration prescribed, usually not longer than two to four weeks
• Avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings unless advised by a doctor

• Other Topical Steroids: Using Dimed-Z cream alongside other steroid creams on the same area raises the risk of skin thinning and systemic absorption.
• Oral or Injectable Corticosteroids: Combined use with systemic steroids can increase the total steroid load in the body.
• Other Topical Antifungals: Applying multiple antifungal products on the same skin area is generally unnecessary and can increase irritation.
