How to use Dinacor capsule 300mg?

• Take Dinacor Capsule 300mg as prescribed, usually 300 mg twice daily or 600 mg once daily for 5 to 10 days in adults.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water, with or without food.
• Take iron supplements and antacids at least 2 hours before or after the capsule.
• Children need a weight based dose, usually as a suspension, prescribed by the doctor.

Drug Interactions

• Antacids with aluminum or magnesium: Reduce absorption, so separate by at least 2 hours.
• Iron supplements: Lower cefdinir absorption and may color stools red.
• Probenecid: Raises cefdinir blood levels.
• Warfarin: Antibiotics may increase the blood thinning effect.
