How to use Epliron Tablet 25mg?

• Take Epliron tablet once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew the tablet
• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not adjust the dose on your own
• Blood tests to check potassium and kidney function are usually done before and during treatment

Drug Interactions

• Strong CYP3A4 Inhibitors: Drugs like ketoconazole, itraconazole, and clarithromycin can significantly raise eplerenone levels and are not recommended together
• ACE Inhibitors And ARBs: Combined use increases the risk of high potassium levels
• Potassium Supplements: Taking these together can lead to dangerously high potassium levels
• NSAIDs: May reduce the blood pressure lowering effect and increase kidney related risks
