- Children under 12: not recommended without specialist advice
- Esomega capsule can be taken with or without food, ideally one hour before a meal
- The capsule must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water, never crushed or chewed
- The full prescribed course should be completed even if symptoms improve early
- The Esomega capsule should not be stopped suddenly without talking to a doctor first
