- Paracetamol (Acetaminophen)
How to use Febrol Suspension 120mg/5ml?
- Shake the bottle well before every use
- Use the marked oral syringe or measuring cup provided, not a kitchen spoon
- Give 10 to 15mg per kg of body weight per dose, as advised by the pediatrician
- Children weighing 6 to 10kg: give 2.5ml (60mg) per dose
- Children weighing 11 to 16kg: give 5ml (120mg) per dose
- Children weighing 17 to 21kg: give 7.5ml (180mg) per dose
- Children weighing 22 to 27kg: give 10ml (240mg) per dose
- Leave at least 4 to 6 hours between doses
- Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours
- Can be given with or without food
Drug Interactions
- Other Paracetamol Containing Products: Combining with other cough, cold, or fever medicines that also contain paracetamol raises the risk of accidental overdose
