How to use Folinis Injection 75IU?

• Mix the powder with the sterile diluent just before use
• Inject under the skin or into the muscle, as your doctor advises
• Use the mixed solution at once and discard any unused portion
• Rotate injection sites and use a new needle and syringe each time

Contraindications

• Should not be used by patients allergic to menotrophin or its components
• Should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Should not be used with primary ovarian failure or unexplained vaginal bleeding
• Should not be used with tumours of the ovary, breast, uterus, pituitary or hypothalamus
• Should not be used with ovarian cysts not caused by polycystic ovary syndrome

Risks and warnings

• Do not skip scans or blood tests: monitoring helps lower the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation
• Do not double a missed dose: tell your doctor, who will advise the next step
• Use with caution: if you have thyroid, adrenal or pituitary disorders, since these should be treated first
• Use with caution: if you take clomiphene or other fertility hormones, since the ovarian response may increase
• Be aware: fertility treatment raises the chance of multiple pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy
