Fosedic B 0.1 2% cream 15gm Uses
- Bacterial skin infections with inflammation, such as impetigo
- Infected eczema and dermatitis
- Secondary bacterial infection on psoriasis patches
- Infected insect bites and infected skin folds
- Short-term flare-ups of infected atopic dermatitis

- Betamethasone 0.1%
- Fusidic Acid 2%
How to use Fosedic B 0.1 2% cream 15gm?
- Apply a thin layer to the affected skin twice daily.
- Wash and dry the area gently before application.
- Massage lightly until the cream is absorbed.
- Wash hands after use unless hands are being treated.
- Do not use for longer than 2 weeks without your doctor's advice.
Drug Interactions
Fosedic B is applied on the skin, so interactions with other medicines are uncommon.
- Other Topical Steroids: Combining with another steroid cream on the same area raises the risk of skin thinning.
- Occlusive Dressings: Covering the treated area tightly increases steroid absorption and side effects.
- Other Topical Antibiotics: Using another antibiotic cream on the same spot is not usually needed and may irritate skin.
Risks and warnings
- Skin Thinning: Prolonged use can thin the skin, especially on the face.
- Not for Viral or Fungal Infections: Using it on cold sores or fungal rashes can worsen the condition.
- Avoid Eyes: Keep away from eyes, mouth and open wounds.
- Pregnancy Caution: Use only if advised by your doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Large Area Use: Applying over large body areas raises the risk of steroid absorption into the body.
