How to use Freehale Powder 4mg?

• Give one sachet (4mg) once daily in the evening, or as directed by your child's doctor
• Empty the granules directly onto a spoon or mix with a small amount of soft food like applesauce, mashed banana or ice cream
• Do not mix with liquid, as the granules may not dissolve fully
• Give the dose immediately after opening and mixing the sachet; do not store a mixed dose for later use
• Can be given with or without food
• Do not use as a rescue treatment for sudden asthma attacks or breathing difficulty

Drug Interactions

• Phenobarbital may reduce the effectiveness of Montelukast Sodium
• Rifampicin can lower montelukast levels in the blood
• Use caution when combined with other medicines that act on the central nervous system
