About Gyton tablet 500mg
Single dose vaginal tablet for treating fungal infections and vaginal thrush in women.
- Gyton is used for vulvovaginal candidiasis, commonly called vaginal thrush, caused by an overgrowth of Candida yeast.
- Vaginal itching, burning and a thick white discharge linked to a fungal infection often improve with this tablet.
- Doctors in Pakistan often prescribe it after a course of antibiotics or during pregnancy, when yeast infections are more common.
- Women with diabetes may need it more often, since high blood sugar raises the risk of recurring vaginal yeast infections.
