How to use Ibuprofen Tablet?

• Take one tablet (400mg) every 6 to 8 hours as needed for pain or fever
• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
• Take with food or milk to reduce stomach irritation
• Do not exceed 1200mg (3 tablets) in 24 hours without medical advice
• Do not use for more than 3 days for fever or 10 days for pain without consulting a doctor
• Avoid lying down immediately after taking the tablet

Drug Interactions

• Blood thinners: Ibuprofen can increase the risk of serious bleeding when taken with medicines like warfarin or heparin.
• Other NSAIDs or aspirin: Combining ibuprofen with other NSAIDs or aspirin raises the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding without added pain relief.
• Blood pressure medicines: Ibuprofen can reduce the effectiveness of ACE inhibitors, ARBs and diuretics, and may further raise blood pressure.
