KalSob brings together calcium, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2. Calcium is the main building block of bone. Vitamin D3 improves calcium absorption from the gut, and vitamin K2 helps activate proteins that bind calcium to bone. Supplements should sit beside foods such as milk, yogurt, greens and sun exposure.

How to use KalSob tablet?

• Take KalSob tablet with or after a meal to improve calcium absorption.
• Use the dose printed on the pack or advised by your healthcare provider.
• Swallow with a full glass of water.
• Keep the gap of at least two hours from iron or thyroid tablets.

Drug Interactions

• Warfarin: Vitamin K2 can lower warfarin effect, so INR monitoring may be needed.
• Thyroid medicine, iron and some antibiotics: Calcium can reduce their absorption, so take them a few hours apart.
• Thiazide diuretics: Together with calcium and vitamin D they can raise blood calcium.

Risks and warnings

• High calcium: Avoid if you have high blood calcium, high urine calcium or kidney stones unless a doctor approves.
• Kidney disease: Use only under medical advice.
• Warfarin users: Vitamin K2 can affect blood thinners such as warfarin, so check with a doctor first.
