How to use Klue Tablet 250mg?
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
- Take with or without food
- Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early
- Take doses at evenly spaced times each day
Contraindications
- Not recommended for patients with a known allergy to clarithromycin or other macrolides
- Contraindicated with cisapride or pimozide
- Avoid in patients with a history of jaundice from a previous macrolide
- Should not be taken with lovastatin or simvastatin
Drug Interactions
- Simvastatin or lovastatin: combined use raises the risk of serious muscle injury
- Warfarin: this tablet can increase the blood thinning effect and bleeding risk
- Digoxin: clarithromycin can raise digoxin levels and increase toxicity risk
