How to use Levera tablet 5mg?
- The usual adult dose is one 5mg tablet once daily, taken with or without food.
- Children between 6 and 11 years usually take half a tablet, 2.5mg once daily, based on a doctor's advice.
- A full glass of water helps the tablet go down easily.
- Evening dosing works well for many patients since mild drowsiness can occur in the first few days.
Drug Interactions
- Alcohol: Combining it with alcohol increases drowsiness and slows reaction time.
- Sedatives and sleep aids: Central nervous system depressants add to the sedative effect of Levera.
- Theophylline: High doses may slightly reduce how fast the body clears levocetirizine.
