How to use Levijon Syrup 120ml?

• Levijon syrup can be taken with or without food
• Shake the bottle gently before measuring each dose
• Measure the dose carefully using the measuring cup provided; avoid guessing amounts
• This medicine should be taken at the same times each day for the best results
• Do not stop this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor

Contraindications

• Not suitable for patients with severely elevated liver enzyme levels, as the medicine may not be tolerated
• People diagnosed with a known allergy to ornithine, aspartate, nicotinamide, or riboflavin must avoid this syrup.
• Should not be taken by patients who are currently in acute liver failure requiring intensive medical care
• Those with a history of severe kidney impairment must consult a specialist before use, as ammonia handling may already be compromised.

Drug Interactions

• Lactulose: Both medicines work to lower ammonia levels; using them together may enhance the effect. However, the combination must be supervised by a doctor to avoid imbalance.
