How to use Maclusa Tablet 400mg/100mg?

• Take one tablet by mouth, once daily, with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water, do not crush or split it.
• Take the tablet at the same time each day for the full 12 week course.
• Avoid taking antacids within 4 hours of this tablet, and space out other acid reducing medicines as directed by your doctor.
• Do not stop treatment early even if symptoms improve, since an incomplete course can allow the virus to return.

Drug Interactions

• Amiodarone: Combined use can cause a dangerously slow heart rate, especially with other heart medicines.
• Proton pump inhibitors and antacids: Reduce absorption of velpatasvir, lowering the medicine's effectiveness.
• Rifampin and certain seizure medicines: Lower blood levels of this combination and reduce its antiviral effect.
• St John's Wort: Can significantly reduce how well this medicine works.
