How to use Mesartin Tablet 20mg?

• Take one tablet by mouth once daily, at the same time each day
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Can be taken with or without food
• Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor
• A missed dose should be taken as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose

Drug Interactions

• ACE inhibitors or other ARBs: Combining raises the risk of low blood pressure, high potassium, and kidney problems
• Potassium sparing diuretics or supplements: May cause dangerously high potassium levels
• NSAIDs like ibuprofen: Can reduce the blood pressure lowering effect and stress the kidneys
• Lithium: Blood lithium levels may rise to toxic levels
• Digoxin: Telmisartan can raise digoxin blood levels
