How to use Novasalic Lotion?

• Massage gently until it is absorbed into the skin
• Avoid the eyes, lips and broken or open skin
• Wash hands after application unless treating the hands
• Use only for the duration advised by a doctor

Drug Interactions

• Other topical steroids: Using additional corticosteroid products together raises the risk of skin thinning and systemic absorption.
• Other keratolytic agents: Combining with additional salicylic acid or exfoliating products can increase skin irritation.
• Live vaccines: Extensive steroid absorption over large areas may reduce the effectiveness of live vaccines.

Risks and warnings

• Large surface area use: Applying over extensive body areas increases salicylic acid absorption and related risks.
• Broken or infected skin: Avoid use on open wounds, infected lesions or weeping skin.
• Children: Salicylic acid absorption is higher in children, so pediatric use needs close medical supervision.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use only when a doctor confirms it is necessary.
