• Ofloxacin 0.3%
• Dexamethasone 0.12%

How to use Optoflox Plus drops 5ml?

• Wash hands before using the drops.
• Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid gently.
• Apply the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye.
• Close the eye gently for a minute without blinking hard.
• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes after applying before reinserting.

Drug Interactions

Tell your doctor about other eye medicines in use before starting this combination.

• Other topical eye medicines: Space out applications by at least 10 minutes to avoid diluting effect.
• Other corticosteroid eye products: Increases the risk of raised eye pressure.

Risks and warnings

• Fluoroquinolone allergy: Avoid if allergic to ofloxacin or related antibiotics.
• Viral or fungal eye infection: Not effective and may worsen the condition.
• Prolonged steroid use: Can raise eye pressure and increase infection risk with extended use.
• Contact lens wearers: Remove lenses before application.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use only if advised by a doctor.
