How to use Otocaine Drops 5ml?

• Clean the outer ear gently before use, then tilt the head sideways with the affected ear facing up
• Instill 3 to 4 drops into the affected ear canal, 3 to 4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor
• Keep the head tilted for 1 to 2 minutes after instilling the drops so the medicine reaches the canal fully
• Avoid inserting the dropper tip directly into the ear to prevent contamination
• Continue for the full course prescribed even if pain improves within a day or two

Drug Interactions

• Other ototoxic drugs: Concurrent use with other ototoxic ear or systemic medicines may raise the risk of hearing related side effects
• Other topical ear preparations: Avoid combining with other ear drops unless advised by a doctor, since this can alter absorption
