- Orphenadrine Citrate and Paracetamol
How to use Paincure Forte Tablet?
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
- Take it after a meal, which may reduce stomach upset
- Space doses evenly through the day
- Stop and see your doctor if pain continues beyond a few days
Contraindications
- Should not be used by patients allergic to orphenadrine, paracetamol or similar medicines
- Should not be used with glaucoma, enlarged prostate with urinary retention, or stomach or bowel blockage
- Should not be used by patients with myasthenia gravis
- Should not be used with severe liver disease or heavy alcohol use
- Should not be used with other paracetamol containing medicines
Risks and warnings
- Do not exceed the recommended dose: as too much paracetamol can seriously damage the liver, and overdose needs urgent medical help
- Avoid other paracetamol products: as the total daily dose may become unsafe
- Avoid alcohol: as drowsiness and liver risk may increase
- Use with caution: if you drive or use machines, as the tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness
- Use with caution: if you have liver, kidney or heart rhythm problems, or are elderly
- Use with caution: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and discuss it with your doctor first
- Space apart from some medicines: sedatives, antihistamines, antidepressants and warfarin may add to side effects or change their effect

- Nausea or mild stomach upset
- Headache or constipation
- Rare allergic signs such as rash, swelling of the face or breathing difficulty
- Rare yellowing of the skin or eyes, fast heartbeat, confusion or sudden eye pain

- Keep out of reach of children
