How to use Rumol Cream?
- Clean and dry the affected area before applying
- Massage a thin layer onto the skin until absorbed
- Wash your hands after application unless treating the hands
- Do not bandage tightly or apply a heating pad over treated skin
Contraindications
- Should not be applied by children under 2 years of age
- Not suitable for use on open wounds or broken, irritated skin
- Avoid in patients with a known allergy to camphor, wintergreen oil, menthol or eucalyptus oil
- Not recommended for patients with a history of seizures without medical advice
Risks and warnings
- Eye and mucous membrane contact: avoid contact and rinse immediately with water if this happens
- New irritation: stop use and see a doctor if irritation, redness or a rash develops
- Pregnancy: not recommended without medical consultation
- Heat sources: do not apply a heating pad over treated skin, and keep away from open flame
