About Synalar N Cream
Synalar N Cream combines a steroid and an antibiotic for infected eczema and dermatitis. Applied 2 to 3 times daily.

- Fluocinolone Acetonide
- Neomycin Sulphate
How to use Synalar N Cream?
- Clean and dry the affected area before applying
- Apply a thin film and rub in gently
- Wash hands after application unless the hands are being treated
- Do not cover with an airtight dressing unless the physician advises it
Contraindications
- Not recommended for patients with rosacea, perioral dermatitis or acne
- Contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to fluocinolone, neomycin or other aminoglycosides
- Avoid in patients with an untreated primary fungal, viral or tuberculous skin infection
- Not suitable for unsupervised use in children under 1 year of age
Risks and warnings
- Prolonged use: increases the risk of skin thinning, stretch marks and visible blood vessels
- Large body surface area or broken skin: raises the risk of the steroid and neomycin being absorbed into the bloodstream
- No improvement within the recommended course: should prompt a review with the physician
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women: should use this cream only if the physician advises it
