How to use Tenavax Tablet 2mg?

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew the tablet
• Can be taken preferably before bedtime if once-daily dosing is prescribed
• Do not stop taking this tablet suddenly without medical advice

Contraindications

• Patients with severe liver disease should not use this tablet
• Known allergy to tizanidine rules out its use
• Not suitable for use during pregnancy without medical supervision
• Avoid in patients with significant heart or blood pressure conditions without medical advice

Drug Interactions

• Ciprofloxacin and other CYP1A2 inhibitors: these can significantly raise tizanidine levels and increase side effect risk
• Antihypertensive medicines: combined use can excessively lower blood pressure
• Alcohol or other sedating medicines: increases drowsiness and sedation when combined
