How to use Travatan Drops 0.004%?
- Wash hands before instilling the eye drop
- Instill one drop in the affected eye once daily in the evening
- Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting them
- Wait at least 5 minutes between this and any other eye drop
- Press gently on the inner corner of the eye after instillation to limit systemic absorption
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface
Drug Interactions
- Other prostaglandin analog eye drops should not be used together since effect does not increase while irritation rises
- Space at least 5 minutes apart from other topical eye medicines to prevent one washing out the other
- Eye drops containing thiomersal preservative may react with this product
