How to use Urilef Tablet 100mg?
- Swallow the tablet whole with water
- Take after meals to reduce stomach upset
- Do not double the dose if one is missed
- Complete the course as directed by the doctor
Contraindications
- Avoid in patients with significant kidney impairment
- Not suitable for patients with severe liver disease
- This medicine must not be used by patients with known G6PD deficiency without medical advice
- Known allergy to phenazopyridine rules out using this tablet
Drug Interactions
- Ciprofloxacin: this tablet may raise ciprofloxacin levels in the body
Risks and warnings
- Urine and stool color: this tablet turns them orange to red, which is harmless but can stain fabric
- Contact lenses: may become permanently stained, so remove them before use
- Yellowish skin or eyes: stop the tablet and see a doctor right away if this appears
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women: should avoid prolonged use without medical advice
