How to use Venu Tablet 10mg?
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
- Can be taken with or without food
- Take this tablet at the same time each day
- Do not stop this tablet suddenly without consulting your doctor
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to vonoprazan
- Should not be taken by those on rilpivirine based HIV medicines
- Not recommended for children and adolescents under eighteen
- Those with a history of severe liver disease should use this tablet with caution
Drug Interactions
- Rilpivirine: this tablet can lower its absorption and effectiveness
- Digoxin: this tablet may raise digoxin levels, so monitoring is advised
- Methotrexate: high dose use together may raise toxicity risk
- Warfarin: combined use may affect INR levels and needs monitoring
Risks and warnings
- Elderly patients: may have a higher risk of bone fracture with prolonged use
- Long-term use: may lower magnesium and vitamin B12 levels over time
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use only if a doctor advises it
