How to use Winstor Tablet 40mg?
- Take Winstor Tablet 40mg once daily, at the same time each day, as prescribed.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
- Continue a low fat, low cholesterol diet alongside the medicine for best results.
- Do not stop the tablet suddenly without talking to the doctor, even if cholesterol levels improve.
- Attend scheduled blood tests to monitor liver function and cholesterol response.
Drug Interactions
- Fibrates: Combining with fenofibrate or gemfibrozil raises the risk of muscle damage.
- Certain Antibiotics: Macrolide antibiotics like clarithromycin can raise atorvastatin levels and increase side effects.
