How to use Xib Suspension 120ml?
- Shake the suspension well before each use
- Measure the dose with the enclosed measuring cup or spoon
- Take with food or milk to reduce stomach upset
- Do not take more than four doses in 24 hours
Contraindications
- Not suitable for patients with an active stomach ulcer or GI bleeding
- Avoid in patients with a known allergy to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy
- Should not be given to infants under six months of age
Drug Interactions
- Warfarin and other blood thinners: combined use raises the risk of bleeding
- Other NSAIDs or aspirin: add to the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding
- ACE inhibitors or ARBs: this suspension can reduce their blood pressure lowering effect
